HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES – Music at the Intersection

The COVID-19 vaccination or testing policy for performance venues goes into effect Friday, Sept. 10 to coincide with day one of Grand Center Arts District’s inaugural Music at the Intersection festival, of which Kranzberg Arts Foundation is a presenting sponsor. During the three-day festival (Sept. 10-12) – which features more 60 national, regional and local acts – all weekend and single-day pass ticket holders will be required to show proof of vaccine or negative test at box office check-in before receiving their daily wristband.

Guests will need to bring a photo ID and either their physical vaccination card or a photo of their vaccination card. Unvaccinated patrons and children under 12 must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test: either a PCR test taken within 72 hours of box office check in or an antigen test taken within 24 hours. Guests must also wear a face mask at all indoor venues.

Advance ticket buyers can visit any of the six participating Music at the Intersection venue box offices for their COVID-19 vaccination or negative test check and festival wristband. Walk-up ticket buyers can visit the Fox Box Office for their COVID-19 vaccination or negative test check and to purchase a daily wristband. Guests attending multiple days will need to check in at one of the box offices each day.

In addition to all-weekend ($160) and single-day passes ($55-$70), Music at the Intersection is offering a livestream ticket that will allow fans to virtually watch all 10 shows taking place at Fabulous Fox Theatre, including the festival’s headliners Roy Ayers, Gregory Porter and Lalah Hathaway. Weekend livestream tickets can be purchased for just $25, providing an affordable and accessible option to music fans in St. Louis and across the country. All tickets can be purchased directly at MetroTix.com or by phone at
314-534-1111.

If the new COVID-19 policies prevent existing ticket buyers from being able to attend, refunds are available up until Thursday, Sept. 9. Anyone impacted should contact MetroTix at 314-534-1111.

Music at the Intersection takes place across six venues throughout Grand Center, including Kranzberg Arts Foundation-owned The Big Top, The Grandel Theatre, and The Open Air VIP Tent at The Dark Room. Partner venues include Fabulous Fox Theatre, The Sheldon Concert Hall and Jazz St. Louis. All venues will abide by Kranzberg Arts Foundation’s vaccination or testing policy and indoor masking requirement during Music at the Intersection (Sept. 10-12). Additionally, venues will provide sanitizing stations and continue to operate at reduced capacity.
