Iconic singer-songwriter Nick Lowe kicks-off The Sheldon Sessions series, Wednesday, September 26 at 8 p.m. Lowe has made his mark as a performer, best known for the hit "Cruel to Be Kind," producer and songwriter for artists such as Elvis Costello (Lowe wrote "What's So Funny 'Bout Peace, Love, and Understanding"), Graham Parker, The Pretenders and The Damned, and has earned a reputation as a "musicians' musician." Now, enjoying a resurgence in his career as a performer, Lowe is receiving rave review for his witty, understated live shows, described as "elegant and nearly devastating," by the New York Times.
