The Sheldon is a nonprofit cultural institution that presents world-class concerts in its historic Concert Hall, showcases exceptional exhibitions in its Art Galleries, and provides transformative arts education programs that serve thousands of children in St. Louis and beyond. Each year, The Sheldon hosts more than 350 events and welcomes over 100,000 visitors.
Built in 1912 as the Ethical Society of St. Louis, The Sheldon is home to a 700-seat concert hall, a 300 seat ballroom, a 500-seat banquet room and art gallery. With a committed board of directors, The Sheldon has positioned itself as an artistic gem in the heart of St. Louis’ Grand Center Arts District.

Education Assistant
The Sheldon seeks a motivated, responsible, organized, creative person with a passion for arts education to serve as a part-time education assistant. The education assistant will coordinate the logistics of the school-based STEAM programs and serve as an assistant for robust and meaningful educational programming in 14-21 hours per week.
