The St. Louis Cabaret Conference has been a program of The Cabaret Project of St. Louis since 2019. Since 2006 The St. Louis Cabaret Conference has been providing top tier song performance training by nationally renowned award winning faculty. Previous faculty have included Tony winners Faith Prince, Christine Ebersole, Donna McKechnie, Jason Robert Brown and acclaimed performer such as the legendary Marilyn Maye, Broadway’s Christine Andreas, Karen Mason, Liz Callaway, New York’s Billy Stritch, Jeff Harnar, Barbara Fasano, Eric Comstock, LA’s Peisha McPhee, Amanda McBroom along with top music directors Alex Rybeck, Tedd Firth, Christopher Denny, Michael Orland and so many more.
Alum of the St. Louis Cabaret Conference have gone on to perform their solo shows in some of the premiere cabaret and nightclub venues in New York (54 Below, Birdland, Green Room 42, Don’t Tell Mama, Jazz at Lincoln Center, New York Cabaret Convention, Carnegie Hall’s Weil Recital hall, and the former Metropolitan Room). They have won awards for their work from The Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC Award) and the Bistro Awards.
Singers ages 18 and up from all over the country attend the Conference to enrich their performance skills, ignite their creativity, and forge lasting connections with fellow artists and faculty.
The St. Louis Cabaret Conference offers a College track for college age singers at a college discount.

June 2, 2026- Faith Prince
Don’t miss Tony winner Faith Prince makes her first St. Louis solo appearance in over 8 years! “Prince reminds us how musicals can kidnap an audience’s empathy to the point that nothing exists but the song being sung.” New York Times. For the past four decades, Prince has dazzled audiences on both stage and screen in a variety of memorable comedic and dramatic roles. She counts 14 Broadway shows to her credit including last season’s Boop! Prince is equally at home in television and film roles and has performed concert and club appearances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, 54 Below, Boston Pops and Sydney Opera House.
June 3rd- Marilyn Maye
Marilyn Maye is a legendary singer who has appeared in St. Louis nearly 20 times in the past 15 years. Her audiences keep coming back for the "Maye Experience". A Grammy nominee in the mid-1960s, the record holder for singers appearing on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (76 times), and currently the Queen of New York's Clubs and Cabarets, Maye proves that a singer can be both a powerhouse entertainer and a consummate artist.
June 4th- Jim Caruso's NYC Cast Party in St. Louis
The Wall Street Journal says Jim Caruso's Cast Party which has run for over 20 years at Manhattans famed Birdland nightclub, is "The gold standard of Open Mics!". Caruson tours this show to cities all across the US feature their regional talent. Cast Party St. Louis will feature singers from around the country along with some wonderful surprises. Tedd Firth one of Cast Party NYC's main music directors is at the keys. Don't miss the wonderful New York night in St. Louis!
June 5th- Sing Center Stage Closing Night Performance
Tonight, each of the singers from Sing Center Stage, a 5-day song performance training program for talented high school singers, take the stage in solo turns to show off their talents and wow the audience. This event is produced free of charge for the community by The Cabaret Project of St. Louis. We ask you to please reserve your space so we may manage attendance. Directed by Broadway's Sara Shepard.
June 6th- St. Louis Cabaret Conference Celebration
Singers from around the country take to the stage after being mentored all week by Marilyn Maye and Faith Prince. Accompanied by some of the finest pianists in the business, this is an evening of emerging talent that you won't want to miss. Directed by the faculty of the Conference, including Marilyn Maye, Faith Prince, Ari Axelrod, and more. Stick around and have a drink, and meet everyone after!
