World-renowned guitarist/vocalist John Pizzarelli has been hailed by The Boston Globe for “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz.” Established as one of the prime contemporary interpreters of these well love songs, Pizzarelli has expanded that repertoire by including the music of Paul McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Antônio Carlos Jobim and the Beatles. With sparkling swing and a stunning vocal approach, Catherine Russell is one of the great interpreters of American popular song. Hailing from a musically prominent family, this jazz vocalist and multi-instrumentalist has performed and recorded with artists from Steely Dan and David Bowie to Michael Feinstein and Rosanne Cash.
