Music For Lifelong Achievement

Give the gift of music by donating your new or used instruments to the Music For Lifelong Achievement (MFLA) program! Part of The Sheldon’s education programs, MFLA works with area schools and organizations to distribute instruments to those in need.

Your donation ensures that kids of all backgrounds are given the opportunity to grow and express themselves through the power of music.

Instruments can be dropped off at The Sheldon any time between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please call our reception desk at 314.533.9900 to let us know when you plan to come by.

The Sheldon is located at 3648 Washington Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63108. You may park just east of The Sheldon (in between the Sheldon and the Fox Theatre) and deliver your instruments to the white stage door. Please use the buzzer for entry. We will have a donation form ready for you to fill out when you arrive.

Donate Funds to MFLA

April is MFLA Month at The Sheldon!

This year, MFLA’s April instrument collection drive benefits area schools and organizations, distributing instruments to those in need. Instrument and monetary donations ensure that kids of all backgrounds are given the opportunity to grow and express themselves through the power of music.

Donations of used (or new) musical instrument will be accepted:

  • In person at The Sheldon throughout the month of April, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Donors should enter through the administrative entrance on the east side of the Sheldon Concert Hall.
  • During Sheldon Art Gallery hours, Tuesday-Friday, noon – 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • At the box office at any Sheldon concert in April.

Don’t have an instrument to donate? Financial contributions can help pay for necessary repairs of donated instruments, as well as accessories such as strings, reeds and sheet music. Click below to make a monetary donation!
