STEAM Programs at The Sheldon

The Sheldon offers two engaging and educational STEAM programs.

The Sheldon SOLID Project (Science of Learning Instrument Design) is a STEAM-based program for grade school students, supported by the Saint Louis Science Center, that challenges students to design and create their own musical instruments by following the steps of the engineering cycle. LEARN MORE

Sheldon Sound Studio is a middle school STEAM program, consisting of six interactive video lessons and lesson plans, which culminates in a hands-on challenge to create meaningful sound art. Students will explore the blend of acoustic and electronic sound throughout this project. LEARN MORE
