STEAM Programs at The Sheldon

The Sheldon offers two engaging and educational STEAM programs.

The Sheldon SOLID Project (Science of Learning Instrument Design), presented in collaboration with the Saint Louis Science Center, challenges elementary students to design and create their own musical instruments by following the steps of the engineering cycle. Sheldon Sound Studio emphasizes the science, art, and technology of sound and challenges middle school students to design and create their own sound art that communicates a message. Students follow the engineering cycle. Schools receive six interactive video lesson and curriculum. LEARN MORE
