• Beginning September 2, 2021, anyone aged 12 or older, attending a ticketed event at The Sheldon, will be asked to show proof of full vaccination* OR a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours before time of entry into the event. Patrons should be prepared to show their vaccination card, or proof of negative COVID test, or a photo of their vaccination card or test results on their mobile devices, before entering The Sheldon. Self-administered tests will not be accepted.

• The Sheldon will also maintain a flexible ticket exchange policy throughout the season to accommodate any health and safety-related concerns.

Todd Snider is known for humorous, though often poignant, lyrics delivered in classic troubadour style. A slyly intelligent songwriter, his live shows combine acclaimed musicianship and endearing storytelling for a one-of-a-kind night of modern folk music.

On the advice of his doctors, due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, 90-year-old Ramblin’ Jack Elliott will not appear with Todd Snider as originally announced. Ramblin’ Jack will be replaced by singer/songwriter Chicago Farmer.

The son of a small-town farming community, Cody Diekhoff logged plenty of highway and stage time under the name Chicago Farmer before settling in the city in 2003. Profoundly inspired by fellow Midwesterner John Prine, he’s a working-class folk musician to his core.

“I love the energy, music and creativity of Chicago, but at the same time, the roots and hard work of my small town,” he shares. Growing up in Delavan, Illinois, with a population less than 2,000, Diekhoff’s grandparents were farmers, and their values have always provided the baseline of his songs.

A $1 historic preservation fee will be added to each ticket to help maintain The Sheldon for future generations.
