REPLAY – The Sheldon’s Instrument Donation Program
Due to The Sheldon’s ongoing construction, we will be pausing all instrument donations until October 1st.
Give the gift of music by donating your gently used instruments to The Sheldon’s Instrument Donation Program: REPLAY! The Sheldon works with area schools and organizations to distribute instruments to those in need. Your donation ensures that kids of all backgrounds are given the opportunity to grow and express themselves through the power of music.
Instruments may be dropped off at The Sheldon any time between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. We will have a FORM for you to complete when you arrive, or you may complete the form at home and bring it with you to The Sheldon.
Please note: Donated instruments should be in playing condition or in need of minor repairs only. Examples of minor repairs may include: cleaning and adjustments, string replacements, drum head replacements, 4 or less pad replacements (for winds/brass), and removal of minor dents (winds/brass). Valves should be in working order. Cork should be mostly intact. Instruments that contain electronics should come with ALL components. The Sheldon cannot accept pianos, organs, accordions, mandolins or collectable/non-standard instruments.
If you have any questions about what The Sheldon will accept, please call 314-533-9900.
