Bio: Singer-songwriter John Goodwin songs have been recorded and performed by recording artists across multiple genres, including co-writing credits with Michael McDonald, Brad Paisley, Judy Collins, Jeff Bridges, The Mavericks, Sebastian Bach, Rita Coolidge and Craig Morgan. His songs have been featured in several major motion pictures including Crazy Heart, Surf’s Up, The Amateurs and Tideland. Besides a vast career in writing and collaborating, Goodwin has recorded a catalogue of solo albums. The most recent, a rock and roll album titled Van Gogh in Hollywood, is an abstract musical portrait of contemporary society. John Goodwin is also a visual artist–a painter, ceramicist and sculptor.
