“Live From The Sheldon” continues with jazz vocalist Kurt Elling.
Kurt Elling’s unmistakable voice and dynamic repertoire have made him one of today’s most compelling jazz vocalists. From his daring takes on timeless standards, to his emotionally resonant originals, Elling’s performances have been hailed by The Washington Post as “suffused with graciousness, beauty, and, on occasion, heartbreak.”
A free, monthly, virtual series spotlighting some of the most creative artists locally and from around the country, “Live From The Sheldon” streams on both The Sheldon’s and HEC’s Facebook and YouTube pages, and is available on HEC Media’s cable channels: 989 Spectrum and 99 U-verse.
In addition to these local outlets, the concert will also be broadcast by partner venues throughout the region, with performing arts venues in Illinois, Kansas and Iowa simulcasting the concert.
