This concert is a part of the Sheldon Classics Series.
Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, The Sheldon Classics performance with Roger Kaza, originally scheduled for January 20, has been rescheduled to Monday, June 14 at 8 p.m. Ticket buyers will be contacted with their options for retaining or refunding their tickets.
Roger Kaza, St. Louis Symphony Principal horn, is joined by pianist Peter Henderson in an exploration of four centuries of glorious music for French horn, including a visit to its primal origins in the forests of Europe. On the program are works by Handel, Mozart, Brahms and Olivier Messiaen’s Appel Interstellaire from the suite Des Canyons aux étoiles.
